Even if…

“Even if we travel the world to find the beauty, we have to take it with us so that we can always find it”. –

There are many problems in the path of success. To succeed, you have to go through the many obstacles. If you want to shine like a sun, then you must be willing to burn like a sun.

Nothing grows in the place of comfort, If you really want a life as you imagine then you must be willing to work for it.

‘Nakedness’….

I recently came across this quote for the first time. It zinged me. It thrilled me. I’ve been replaying it in my mind over and over again and sharing with anyone who will listen. It’s brilliant. It compels you to stop and think. What does this mean? Does this apply to me in any way?

I feel that ‘nakedness’. The tide has gone out in my life and the next wave hasn’t yet come in. We stand on the wet sand, retired Continue reading

1. Do not feel absolutely certain of anything.
2. Do not think it worth while to proceed by concealing evidence, for the evidence is sure to come to light.
3. Never try to discourage thinking, for you are sure to succeed.
4. When you meet with opposition, even if it is from your family, endeavour to overcome it by argument and not by authority, for a victory dependent upon authority is unreal and illusory.

The wheels of life ……..

 .

And as long as you wait for the wheel to turn, life is gone and lost!

You’ve got to have the will to live
You’ve got to have the will to try
Sometimes you gotta walk away, with your head held high
Wipe your tear-stained eye, ’cause you’ve got to keep on trying

The wheels of life, keeps going around
I said the wheels of life, yeah, keep right on going around

“Life is amazing. And then it’s awful. And then it’s amazing again. And in between the amazing and awful it’s ordinary and mundane and routine.

Breathe in the amazing, hold on through the awful, and relax and exhale during the ordinary.

That’s just living heartbreaking, soul-healing, amazing, awful, ordinary life. And it’s breathtakingly beautiful.”

– L.R. Knost

What would you wish for if a fairy gives you a magical wish?

You may not see the fairies and think they’re not around,
but out amongst the trees and plants these special beings abound.

Whenever you’re in nature they are just beyond your sight,
as their very favourite playtime is whilst you sleep at night.

If you’d like some magic fairy dust you should make your wishes clear, then ask the fae to bless your wish and click to be sprinkled ……..

May all your wishes come true!

The King & the Ring – This Too Shall Pass

Do you feel sometimes that life overwhelms you with stress, worries, mounting “to do” list, demanding bosses, clients, family members, responsibilities, bills, and challenges?
This legend and the song are for you.

During the festive Passover meal with his ministers, King Solomon teased Benaiah son of Jehoiada, his arrogant Chief of Army.

– “Benaiah, I was told that there is a special ring that has a special power. It can change the mood of a person. A sad person becomes happy when watching it and a happy person becomes sad. I know that you of all people in the kingdom can find the ring. Would you be able to find this ring and bring it to me until the eve of Sukkot eve, that is 6 months from now?” Continue reading

Intentional Peer Support

If I could write a poem about hope
I’d call it Intentional Peer Support.
It would be about connection, worldview, mutual responsibility, and
moving towards not away from.

If I could write a poem about social justice,
I’d call it Intentional Peer Support.
It would be about inclusion of vast and different personal stories, our views, cultures,
values, experiences, knowledge, uncommon and common sense, our ideas.

If I could write a poem about relationships,
I’d call it Intentional Peer Support.
It would be about challenging ourselves to see and think differently
to learn and grow together.

If I could write a poem about compassion,
I’d call it Intentional Peer Support.
It would be about acknowledging and sharing our power
while still daring to be powerful.
It would be about sensitivity, self definitions and self determination.

If I could write a poem about listening differently,
I’d call it Intentional Peer Support.
It would be about tuning into one another,
suspending what we think we know
in order to discover what we didn’t
It would be about a commitment to be patient
with the process of relating and each other.

If I could write a poem about community,
I’d call it Intentional Peer Support.
It would be about prioritizing our relationships
in the family and in our communities
as we define our families, as we remain apart of community.

If I could write a poem about vision,
I’d call it Intentional Peer Support.
It would be about a new vision of interacting with peers
forgetting what we don’t want, envisioning what we do,
living well in the present, and creating a better tomorrow.

If I could write a poem about Intentional Peer Support,
It would be about social change
I’d call it social change.

Big risk…. Denis Waitley

ΗAVE A NICE WEEKEND!!!!

Life is inherently risky. There is only one big risk you should avoid at all costs, and that is the risk of doing nothing.

“The whole universe is in a glass of wine”

A poet once said, “The whole universe is in a glass of wine.” We will probably never know in what sense he meant that, for poets do not write to be understood. But it is true that if we look at a glass of wine closely enough we see the entire universe.
