The Daffodils in Gerardmer – France

 

In fact within a radius of 10 km, the Daffodils cover almost all the meadows. The scene is stunning, as beyond this area “the hummer flower” (from its name given in the past) rarefies.

Daffodils grow in so large quantities around Gerardmer that they gave the idea for a flower parade that became a real popular festival gathering thousands of persons in the town streets. Continue reading

Aigina spring raining time….

We spent weekend in Aigina island in spite of the rain and it was amazing!!! Have a nice week!!!

According to ancient mythology, Aegina owes its name to the nymph Aegina, daughter of the river god Asopus, who Zeus seduced and took on the island of Aegina, then called Oenone.
